Lottery Wheeling, Scam or Smart?

Are lottery wheels smart or just another scam?

Lottery wheels are a method of arranging lottery ticket numbers in a way that will supposedly improve your chances to win multiple-tier lottery prizes. Wheeling was designed for players who wish to play with a bigger  number set than the set required for a lottery ticket. Using a mathematical formula based on combinations it generates tables that would give either full or partial coverage of all possible prize winning  combinations of numbers a player selects for a lottery draw.

An example would be that instead of picking 6 number for pick 6 you would pick 10 numbers and if the winning 6 numbers were part of that 10 number field that you picked then you would definitely win a prize of 3 out of 6 or more, hopefully the jackpot of 6 of 6.

So, do lottery wheels or lottery wheeling as it’s call work?  Yes and no.

Picking 10 numbers or what every pool size of numbers you wish is just as hard as picking 6 numbers. So your odds don’t improve all that much.  You also have to play more tickets than just 1 or 2 tickets.

But if your going to play 10 or more tickets anyway, then you might as well wheel them.

The real problem with wheeling in my opinion is you play a lot of wasted plays.

Let me give you an example of a wasted play:  In pick 6,  66% of the time the winning numbers are arranged as 3 even numbers and 3 odd numbers, 2 odds and 3 evens, or 3 odds and 2 even numbers.  With wheeling, the wheel does not take into consideration the make up of the combination of 6 numbers.  So you get combinations where all 6 numbers can be even or odd. That’s pretty much a waste of time.

You may also get a combination where 2, 3, 4, 5 or even all 6 numbers where in the last couple of winning tickets.  This happening is pretty much unheard of.

So if you are going to wheel the next big lottery, after you generate those numbers look carefully at each set of numbers.

Go to your lottery’s home page and take each set and search the combination for winners and see if it’s a waste of time to play that set.  Also exclude any set of numbers that’s all even or all odd.
